Reaching Students in Pittsburgh, Building Bridges Around the World

Cru is a community where the gospel captures hearts, transforms lives, and launches men and women into a lifelong adventure with Jesus Christ. We are a community of people seeking Truth in a culture that doubts that it is out there. We are students, faculty, volunteers and full-time ministry staff. We come from different backgrounds and have different stories. Some of us grew up hearing about Jesus Christ, some of us only recently have begun to wrestle with his claims and the claims of the faith named after him. Together we desire to understand the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible.

This is our journey, and we are all at different points – it’s not about how far you’ve come, but which direction you’re headed. We know that we’re flawed & we know we’re not perfect. In our imperfection we welcome others who are imperfect (even if we welcome them imperfectly).

Pittsburgh Metro Cru is a part of the international ministry known as Campus Crusade for Christ. Campus Crusade’s campus ministry arm is a movement of students on thousands of university campuses around the world who are seeking God. Cru is currently active on 8 campuses in the Pittsburgh Metro area. We hope to expand our presence to every campus within the city. We are limited not by desire or by heart, but by a lack of people to partner with us on those campuses.
